Public bug reported: I attempted to upgrade 12.04lts to 12.10 as a stepping stone en route to 14lts. There were three 'error' messages during the upgrade to 12.10. This one has me foxed. I hope this information is of some help and apologise in advance for my lack of understanding. [Bug 319391] Re: migrate_common.ph missing
** Description changed: Binary package hint: migrationtools When installing migrate_common.ph via apt-get on hardy, migrate_common.ph is missing from /usr/share/migrationtools/ This problem is affecting 2.6.24-23-server hardy. The file is included when I install migrationtools on my intrepid desktop 2.6.27-9-generic. Version is 47-3ubuntu2 0 I tried uploading missing file and adding correct configuration options, but scripts such as migrate_group.pl output default values dc=padl,dc=com instead of the values I've set. + + **UPDATE** I've found the elusive migrate_common.ph at + /usr/share/perl5/migrate_common.ph . However, + /etc/migrationtools/migrate_common.ph still links to the non-existant + /usr/share/migrationtools/migrate_common.ph so I still think this is + bug-worthy. -- migrate_common.ph missing https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/319391 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Bug confirmed on my system (AMD64). [Bug 232042] Re: Rhythmbox no longer works following upgrade to hardy
To answer the questions you raise: 1. I launched rhythmbox from the drop down application menu, i selected a track from my library and pressed 'play' nothing happened. 2. I would have expected the track to start to play and the various counters to indicate that the track was playing and there to have been clear audible sound. 3. Instead nothing happened, the track counter did not move, there was no audible sound. When I tried selecting other tracks I got the following messages Playback error failed to connect to stream: invalid arguement. I hope this is helpful, if I can provide any more detail please advise what I need to do as I am quite new to ubuntu and linux, thanks Andy -- Rhythmbox no longer works following upgrade to hardy https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/232042 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
