[Bug 1841646] Re: White text on white background for HTML e-mail

2019-11-17 Thread Anirudh
Ubuntu devs, please have a look at getting this backported. This is a
user experience breaking bug and it cannot be left unfixed in an LTS
release. I strongly urge someone with the powers to get this backported
to ubuntu 18.04.

[Bug 348180] Re: Impossible to set custom page sizes

2012-04-06 Thread Anirudh Shukla
I am using UBUNTU 11.10 Oneric Ocelot. When trying to print a document
on custom sized paper using for example LibreOffice, the option is
simply not available. When you hit print and select pinter properties
and goto paper size, the option of user defined/custom paper size is
simply not available to select. This should be corrected asap.

NTFS is either inconsistent, or there is a hardware fault, or it's a
SoftRAID/FakeRAID hardware. In the first case run chkdsk /f on Windows
then reboot into Windows twice. The usage of the /f parameter is very
important! If the device is a SoftRAID/FakeRAID then first activate
it and mount a different device under the /dev/mapper/ directory, (e.g.
/dev/mapper/nvidia_eahaabcc1). Please see the 'dmraid' documentation

[Bug 145279] Re: [gutsy] Unmet dependencies while installing xserver-xorg-video-openchrome

2007-12-29 Thread Anirudh
Since it says
xserver-xorg-video-openchrome: Depends: libviaxvmc1 (= 0.2.6+svn357-0ubuntu3)
but it is not going to be installed
 Depends: libviaxvmcpro1 (=
0.2.6+svn357-0ubuntu3) but it is not going to be installed
E: Broken packages

i assumed libviaxvmc1 depends on libviaxvmcpro1. so i did this command:

sudo apt-get install libviaxvmcpro1 libviaxvmc1 xserver-xorg-video-
openchrome

and it worked.

Then u have to edit your xorg.conf file (/etc/X11/xorg.conf). scroll down to
the Video section. Under Section "Device", under "Generic Video Card":
you need to change "vesa" to "via".

the changes wont happen until u restart the x server. to do this, you
need to log out, then press Ctrl+Alt+Backspace at the login screen. if
everything worked, the login screen will load up again and all is
normal, but if it doesnt, then ur not gonna have pretty interface to fix
it. u need to login to a console, go back and edit the xorg.conf file
and change the driver back to "vesa" to get it back to where it was.
