I am using UBUNTU 11.10 Oneric Ocelot. When trying to print a document on custom sized paper using for example LibreOffice, the option is simply not available. When you hit print and select pinter properties and goto paper size, the option of user defined/custom paper size is simply not available to select. Then u have to edit your xorg.conf file (/etc/X11/xorg.conf). scroll down to the Video section.
