[Bug 122717] Re: Blank CD not recognized when trying to burn an audio CD

[Bug 73862] Re: Add optimized cipher modules to initramfs
You should file another bug report for the non-cryptroot stuff. This report is only for updating the initramfs to support the platform specific modules. [Bug 135039] Re: regression: gnome-power-manager does not automatically set screen backlight brightness when switching between AC and battery on Thinkpad X41
I can confirm this on a Thinkapd T23. It may be related to a recent ACPI update since it does not work correctly when trying to manipulate /proc/acpi/ibm/brightness directly. |-/proc/acpi/ibm-| [EMAIL PROTECTED] cat /proc/acpi/ibm/brightness level: 2 commands: up, down commands: level level (level is 0-7) |-/proc/acpi/ibm-| [EMAIL PROTECTED] echo up /proc/acpi/ibm/brightness |-/proc/acpi/ibm-| [EMAIL PROTECTED] cat /proc/acpi/ibm/brightness level: 0 commands: up, down commands: level level (level is 0-7) |-/proc/acpi/ibm-| [EMAIL PROTECTED] echo up /proc/acpi/ibm/brightness |-/proc/acpi/ibm-| [EMAIL PROTECTED] cat /proc/acpi/ibm/brightness level: 1 commands: up, down commands: level level (level is 0-7) |-/proc/acpi/ibm-| [EMAIL PROTECTED] echo up /proc/acpi/ibm/brightness |-/proc/acpi/ibm-| [EMAIL PROTECTED] cat /proc/acpi/ibm/brightness level: 2 commands: up, down commands: level level (level is 0-7) |-/proc/acpi/ibm-| [EMAIL PROTECTED] echo up /proc/acpi/ibm/brightness |-/proc/acpi/ibm-| [EMAIL PROTECTED] cat /proc/acpi/ibm/brightness level: 1 commands: up, down commands: level level (level is 0-7) |-/proc/acpi/ibm-| [EMAIL PROTECTED] echo level 7 /proc/acpi/ibm/brightness |-/proc/acpi/ibm-| [EMAIL PROTECTED] cat /proc/acpi/ibm/brightness level: 7 commands: up, down commands: level level (level is 0-7) |-/proc/acpi/ibm-| [EMAIL PROTECTED] echo level 7 /proc/acpi/ibm/brightness |-/proc/acpi/ibm-| [EMAIL PROTECTED] echo level 6 /proc/acpi/ibm/brightness |-/proc/acpi/ibm-| [EMAIL PROTECTED] cat /proc/acpi/ibm/brightness level: 6 commands: up, down commands: level level (level is 0-7) |-/proc/acpi/ibm-| [EMAIL PROTECTED] echo level 7 /proc/acpi/ibm/brightness |-/proc/acpi/ibm-| [EMAIL PROTECTED] cat /proc/acpi/ibm/brightness level: 1 commands: up, down commands: level level (level is 0-7) -- regression: gnome-power-manager does not automatically set screen backlight brightness when switching between AC and battery on Thinkpad X41 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/135039 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 129913] Re: cannot change brightness in Gutsy with thinkpad X61s
I can also verify this on Thinkpad T23. It may be related to a recent ACPI update. [Bug 42052] Re: Screen not locked on resume from hibernate/suspend
The fix is what Jean mentioned. When gnome-power-manager starts suspend it sends a dbus message to gnome-screen-saver that the machine is now inactive. That kicks on the screen saver. During the resume a dbus message is sent that the system is now active and to disable the screen saver. If you tell gnome-screen-saver to lock the screen then it will ask for a password. -- Screen not locked on resume from hibernate/suspend https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/42052 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
