[Bug 1523673] [NEW] Reinstall nvidia-* drivers after each kernel update
Public bug reported: Hey everyone, Well this bug is simple to explain but might be tricky to fix or even understand how it is happening (at least to me). After each kernel update, I can't switch to my nvidia card using nvidia-settings or prime-select (even prime-switch). To do so I have to purge then reinstall nvidia-* driver. I'm sorry to not have any logs to show you. ** Affects: ubuntu-drivers-common (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1523673 Title: Reinstall nvidia-* drivers after each kernel update To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubuntu-drivers-common/+bug/1523673/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
