Re: [Bug 772177] Re: Alt+Tab Feels slow

2011-07-13 Thread Anthony Tippett
Agreed. And we shouldn't fix an issue by breaking another. The delay is
annoying. So much so that I started googling for a fix right after I
installed unity unbuntu

honestly i'd way rather see the flickering than tolerating the 0.2sec
delay every single time i press and hold alt-tab. It makes ubuntu feels
very sluggish and subpar comparing with Win and Mac.

[Bug 772177] Re: Alt+Tab Feels slow

2011-07-07 Thread Anthony Tippett
seems like a hack to prevent something that should be fixed. Why make a
keep a design decision that users are describing as an unpleasant
experience just to prevent a flickering effect that probably should be
fixed. I have zero delay and experience no flicker, btw.

[Bug 73750] Re: After hibernate: Battery not correctly recognized/displayed in Panel applet

2011-05-25 Thread Anthony Tippett
tru dat. I've got a new lenovo t420s that this happens to on Ubuntu
natty. I'm not using hibernate and seems to occur after a suspend.
Suspending and un suspending resolves the issue. Let me know if there
are any output information that i can provide to help get this resolved.
