Public bug reported: Binary package hint: libreoffice When opening documents (From the "File" menu), in Writer it takes approx 14-15 seconds to open and will frequently dim the window. Calc also takes 15 secs to open documents with the same dimming affect. In Windows, with the same files, I was able to open them in 3-4 seconds. I ran the same tests in Maverick, and I opened the documents in 4-5 seconds. The lag seems to be in Natty. Public bug reported: It appears to be completely random, I didn't get these lockups in Karmic. I've made no changes to hardware. The crash just freezes everything and it is unresponsive to SysRq+REISUB in this state. Today is occured while editing in Gimp, yesterday while browsing (In Chrome) and a few days ago while simply playing music in Banshee. Any help is appreciated.
