[Bug 203068] Re: Slow scrolling in Epiphany

2008-03-17 Thread Apex
Option "AccelMethod" "exa"
Option "ExaNoComposite""false"
Option "MigrationHeuristic" "greedy"

Adding those above lines in xorg.conf seem to have made some type of
speed increase in the smooth scrolling. I am still encountering
scrolling slow down when your mouse pointer is hovered above address
links.

Here'a another site that is slow.

http://www.oakparkfoundation.org/

It's in discussion on Ubuntu Forums, but seems specific to Intel
Drivers.

http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=708928

Thanks for your time.

[Bug 204692] [NEW] Banshee MTP support not working

2008-03-21 Thread Apex
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: banshee

MTP support is still not working with the latest Banshee update on an
iRiver Clix 2 portable player. I know it works flawlessly because I had
built it from SVN stable a month ago on OpenSUSE 10.3 and it worked
(along with syncing album art). libmtp7 is installed as well.

Changes:
 banshee (0.13.2+dfsg-8) unstable; urgency=low

 debian/rules:

[Bug 204692] Re: Banshee MTP support not working

2008-03-21 Thread Apex
I can't seem to build from SVN STABLE on Hardy, there are many
dependencies missing and commenting out where it fails to configure
isn't helping and the package is clearly installed that it's calling
for. I was never able to get it to work in Ubuntu and have not used
OpenSUSE since Hardy Alpha 5. Not sure if it's any help, but it works
on Rthymbox with my player, just doens't sync the album art which I
believe is a feature of Banshee.

[Bug 193655] [NEW] Nvida-settings reset to default upon returning from gnome-screensaver

2008-02-20 Thread Apex
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: compiz

With Compiz Fusion activated my nvidia-settings are set back to default
when used with gnome-screensaver. As soon as the screen begins to fade

[Bug 203068] [NEW] Slow jerky scrolling in Epiphany

2008-03-16 Thread Apex
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: epiphany-browser

As of the last Epiphany updates to Ubuntu 8.04 the scrolling has become
slower and jerky consuming much of the CPU. This was not present as of
a week ago, so a possible regression was introduced. It is especially
sluggish while scrolling over links within a page and picture images.
I'm not sure if this is specific to Epiphany 2.22 or xulrunner 1.9 /
gecko engine as it occurs in Firefox as well but much worse.

[Bug 198370] [NEW] Windows garbaging when using Update / Synaptic Package Manager

2008-03-04 Thread Apex
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: compiz

This bug has been occurring since 7.10, but is still present in Hardy
8.04 with latest update. I have wobbly enabled. Compiz grabs the
fading wffect as a window, wobbles with Map effect, and the leaves
behind window garbaging when the update is active / finished. I believe
there may be a setting with CCSM to avoid Compiz grabbing this type of
window but I can't recall where.
