[Bug 775518] [NEW] Xorg freeze

2011-05-02 Thread Aspie
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xorg

Computer freezes when screenaver is on, or usually when an app that
takes up the whole screen, such as a game, will make it freeze, just
about instantly.

I had this problem on my laptop and my Mom's computer, that also runs
Ubuntu 11.04. This problem is common, as many other people have it too.
I have now disabled my screensaver, and made sure the any game I play is
not set to fullscreen mode, until this is fixed.

[Bug 734095] [NEW] Messenger automatically resets itself

2011-03-12 Thread Aspie
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: empathy

On this computer only, everytime I turn on the computer, I have to add
my Messengers like AIM (which is the only one I use). Then a keyring
comes up asking for a password. No password for this computer works.

On my laptop, I do not have this problem. The only difference is, is
that I enter a password to get into the OS on mine. But I'm pretty sure
it worked before when I didn't have a login password set for the OS.
