The package repository:

** Description changed:

There's a new version out for my Android phone with a lot of cool
functionalities and I would appreciate an update for the kdeconnect-kde
  under Ubuntu too.

You could add this to trusty-backports, if is not considered stable for
  the main repo.

[Bug 1232896] [NEW] 3G HSUPA modem Olivetti Olicard 160 is not recognized

2013-09-29 Thread Ayrton Araújo
Public bug reported:

Brief summary:
The 3G HSUPA modem Olivetti Olicard 160 is not recognized by Ubuntu 13.04
64bits as a mobile broadband modem.

The result of lsusb | grep -i olivetti:
Bus 003 Device 004: ID 0b3c:f00c Olivetti Techcenter

Steps to reproduce:
Plug the modem in the usb port.
What happens:
The modem starts blinkin a yellow led, but network-manager doesn't show the
modem when manually adding a mobile broadband connetion.

What is expected:
network-manager show the modem in the modems list when try to add a mobile
broadband connection.

Additional information:
I also tried create the file /etc/udev/rules.d/14-olicardmodules.rules with the
following rules:
SYSFS{idVendor}=="0b3c",SYSFS{idProduct}=="f00c",RUN+="/sbin/modprobe usbserial
vendor=0x0b3c product=0xf00c"
KERNEL==”ttyUSB[23]“,ACTION==”add”,SYSFS{idVendor}==”0b3c”,SYSFS{idProduct}==”f00c″,RUN+=”/bin/sleep
 2″

I confirmed that bug based on the question
https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/usb-modeswitch-
data/+question/234966 and some other related issues with this specific
modem reported in forums.

[Bug 1195398] Re: [dialer-app] Is not possible to execute costumer service numbers like *144#

2013-09-29 Thread Ayrton Araújo
** Description changed:

  Brief summary:
Costumer service numbers, like "*144#" doesn't work.

  Steps to reproduce:
Call to a costumer service number like "*144#". It ends with "#".

  What happens:
The phone apps calls to "*144".

  What is expected:
We have two types of that services.
One ask for interaction and other none.
In normal phones it shows a on screen popup for show the information. If it
allows interaction, in the end of popup theres a textbox for place the response.

+ Idea:
Maybe we can send a normal text to messages notification and doesn't store it
on messages list (conversations list).
And them, if it allows interaction, make possible to send a response as a
normal message. If it not ask for interaction, just shows a "close" button
instead a textbox.

[Bug 1195398] Re: [dialer-app] Is not possible to execute costumer service numbers like *144#

2013-09-29 Thread Ayrton Araújo
Hi Khairul,

Theres already some work in progress for that bug.
As the importance is High, sure that the developers are dealing with this with
particular attention.

To increase the fix speed, as it is critical for your country, you could
branch the dialer-app and ofono for send patchs or even send mockups for
the dialer-app, as the fix expectation suggests.

As the core apps is community driven, all colaboration will be useful
for the core devs.

Cheers.

[Bug 1094978] [NEW] pam environment duplicate path directories

2012-12-31 Thread Ayrton Araújo
Public bug reported:

Using Ubuntu 12.10, if I set up my ~/.pam_environment like this:
PATH DEFAULT=${PATH}:~/opt/bin
My PATH will have ~/opt/bin seted twice.

For fix this, I need to do the following change in line 50 of file
/etc/pam.d/login:
session required pam_env.so readenv=1 user_readenv=0
While user_readenv=0 avoid to set env using my local changes and call my
personal env in the second time session is called.

** Affects: pam (Ubuntu)

 Status: Confirmed
