[Bug 290373] [NEW] Render problem with "Arab" font.

2008-10-28 Thread Bagleemo
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: openoffice.org

Recently while editing an old document composed originally in
Openoffice, I noticed that the Arab font began to randomly italicise
certain characters. Attempts to remove and replace words improperly
rendered do not fix the problem, and make it get worse across all
locations with this font in the document. However, when exporting
document as .pdf, fonts are rendered correctly and do not have randomly
italicised letters.

[Bug 74392] Xubuntu 6.10 alternate install hangs at installed language-pack-en-base with wireless network on

2006-12-04 Thread Bagleemo
Public bug reported:

Clean install from Xubunu alternate install CD on Dell Inspiron 3800 P3
laptop.

Follow steps to enable network via wireless ath0 (Atheros Chipset PC
card DWL G630).

System hangs at installed language-pack-en-base

Workaround: Do not install networking during install, or deactivate
wireless network. Then it completes installation properly.

 Status: Unconfirmed
