[Bug 1220426] Re: [nvidia-prime]Freeze while using touchpad
I am one of those who does not know how to apply a patch, so often have to get around this bug using Ctrl+Alt+F1 and Ctrl+Alt+F7, or external USB mouse. In general I am very pleased how much faster bugs get fixed in Ubuntu than in commercial operating systems. But this one has continued for over a year. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1220426 Title: [nvidia-prime]Freeze while using touchpad To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/xorg-server/+bug/1220426/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1220426] Re: [nvidia-prime]Freeze while using touchpad
I am affected by this bug on a Dell E6520 using Ubuntu 14.04. Use of the trackpoint freezes the system, maybe every minute. Pressing Ctrl-Alt F1 followed by Ctrl-Alt F2 unfreezes it. Only solution right now is an external mouse.

[Bug 1067914] Re: Cannot submit software review (unknown network error) on Ubuntu 12.10
This bug appeared for me upon upgrade to Ubuntu 14.04. I try to post a review. reponse: Unknown error communicating with server. Check your log and consider raising a bug report if the problem persists. Would help if the error message specified which log to check. If that should be /var/log/apt/history.log then there is no event registered from all attempts to post reviews. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1067914 Title: Cannot submit software review (unknown network error) on Ubuntu 12.10 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/software-center/+bug/1067914/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
