I see the exact same behaviour as Arkady: Restarting machine causes the wireless network configuration to change from WPA2 to WPA. When I reopen the network settings dialog and change from WPA back to WPA2 then close the dialog, then open it again the connection is still WPA2 but the password has now been blanked. Re- entering the password finally allows a successful connection.
I am running a fully updated Hardy Heron 8.04.1 with a Linksys WMP54G wireless card. Why is this bug marked "low priority"? This currently means the Network tool doesn't work properly with WPA2. Many non-technical users would probably give up before figuring out that you can get it working again after a reboot by going into the tool twice to fix the configuration. -- Wireless settings aren't saved https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/150825 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
