[Bug 1671611] Re: USB wi-fi dongles not working with latest updates

2017-04-28 Thread Bazz
I subscribed to this bug and clicked the 'Yes this bug affects me'
before. But with the kernel version 4.4.0-75-generic (with Ubunut 16.04
LTS) I no longer have this bug.

Hope this means that others aren't experiencing this bug as well.

Re: [Bug 161794] Re: autologin doesn't work

2007-12-02 Thread bazz
I'm trying to use chapter 6 to do this. All that tells
me is how to make a patch, not apply it.
So how do I actually apply the patch. Do I need to
created the patch directory in the
source(debian/patch)? Where and what is the 00list?
Sorry just cant find anything out there to help me.

[Bug 161794] Re: autologin doesn't work

2007-12-02 Thread bazz
So I need to find the source package then how do I find that? I also need
to install an environment? I may just have to wait for the deb.
So to build a package.is it as involved as it looks?
Sorry just clue less at this point.

[Bug 164339] Gusty LTSP Auto Logon=Black Screen..no logon

2007-11-21 Thread bazz
Public bug reported:

If I set the lts.conf in /var/lib/tftpboot/ltsp/i386/lts.conf as:

[00:E0:81:27:D6:AE]
LDM_USERNAME=user
LDM_PASSWORD=password

The machine comes up and all I get is a black screen. It just hangs there and
stays black and with an x for the cursor.
I can not find any errors, or anything. The is also no examples in the
/opt/ltsp/i386/usr/share/doc/ltsp-client/examples

[Bug 154979] X11vnc Can not write log, openpty() failed (/dev/pts not mounted?)

2007-10-20 Thread bazz
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: x11vnc

I do the sudo chroot /opt/ltsp/i386 on my gusty machine and a apt-get
install x11vnc and get this.

Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
The following NEW packages will be installed:
  x11vnc
0 upgraded, 1 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded.
Need to get 0B/458kB of archives.
After unpacking 1135kB of additional disk space will be used.
Can not write log, openpty() failed (/dev/pts not mounted?)
Selecting previously deselected package x11vnc.
(Reading database ... 16352 files and directories currently installed.)
Unpacking x11vnc (from .../x11vnc_0.8.2-2_i386.deb) ...
Can not write log, openpty() failed (/dev/pts not mounted?)
Setting up x11vnc (0.8.2-2) ...

It looks like it installs,(maybe it didnt) however when I try to connect
to the ltsp thin-client I get a connection refused. If I use the Thin
Client Manager to view the screen, all I get is install x11vnc on
client.

[Bug 144296] Re: ltsp-build-client fails at -- updating inetd.config

2007-09-24 Thread bazz
That happen to me also and I found that if you press enter two or three times
it says LTSP client complete or something like that.
I also found after I boot into the client and I'm at the log on screen I get
"This workstation isn't authorized to connect to server" Not sure how to go
about authorizing it. I am also running a win2003 DHCP server, so I dont know
if that matters.

[Bug 144296] Re: ltsp-build-client fails at -- updating inetd.config

2007-09-24 Thread bazz
I forgotI didnt post that "This workstation isn't authorized to
connect to server" as a bug because I dont know as if it would be one. I
looks to me as if its a control that would need to be set up.
