Public bug reported: Started an ordinary upgrade of the system today 20111220 which first slowed down the system (moving the mouse over the screen took 2 minutes) and eventually hanged the system. After approx 2 hour of waiting I restarted the system the hard way. After reboot I tried a partial upgrade which failed for nscd. Even after one more reboot and a new upgrade resulted in a failed upgrade of nscd.
