[Bug 1244629] Re: SRU xfce4-weather-plugin, currently showing 'No Data'
Try the .deb for amd64 from here: https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xfce4-weather- plugin/0.7.4-5~ubuntu12.04.1/+build/5563383 The forecasts are way out but the current temperature and details, oddly, are pretty much bang on. When I go for the long range forecast and click on 'Details' I get the 99s at the bottom of the page: More on weather.com 99 99 99 99 No big issue. The relevant info is there, even if it is out by around five degrees. I look forward to the final fix reaching the official repos. I'm testing 14.04 at the moment and the xfce4 weather plugin there rocks! -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1244629 Title: SRU xfce4-weather-plugin, currently showing 'No Data' To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xfce4-weather-plugin/+bug/1244629/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1244629] Re: SRU xfce4-weather-plugin, currently showing 'No Data'
Typo. I didn't mean 'Try the .deb for amd64 from here', but by all means do, I meant I am TRYING that .deb and here are my results ... ;) For clarity. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1244629 Title: SRU xfce4-weather-plugin, currently showing 'No Data' To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xfce4-weather-plugin/+bug/1244629/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1244629] Re: SRU xfce4-weather-plugin, currently showing 'No Data'
I realise now I probably got this: E: Release 'precise-proposed' for 'xfce4-weather-plugin' was not found ... because there was no upgrade or anything different about the version in proposed. Perhaps the fixed version hasn't made it to my mirror yet? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1244629 Title: SRU xfce4-weather-plugin, currently showing 'No Data' To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xfce4-weather-plugin/+bug/1244629/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1244629] Re: SRU xfce4-weather-plugin, currently showing 'No Data'
Added proposed following the guide here: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/EnableProposed I tried to install just the xfce4-weather-plugin using this command: sudo apt-get install xfce4-weather-plugin/precise-proposed ... and got this: E: Release 'precise-proposed' for 'xfce4-weather-plugin' was not found I tried: sudo aptitude install xfce4-weather-plugin/precise-proposed ... it installed the same version I had, 0.7.4-3. Tested and no different. Can't get the location in, just searches and stops. This was why I was trying to fix in first place. ;) I'm aware my issue is due to this: 'Attention: Please update to 0.8.3. Versions older than 0.8.0 no longer work (bug #8105), and all earlier 0.8.x versions have problems with the search dialog (bug #9636) and are no longer supported.' ... from here: http://goodies.xfce.org/projects/panel-plugins/xfce4-weather-plugin -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1244629 Title: SRU xfce4-weather-plugin, currently showing 'No Data' To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xfce4-weather-plugin/+bug/1244629/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1015297] Re: Screen partially darkened after suspend and resume in Xubuntu
Toshiba Satellite Pro L510. ATI Radeon HD 4500/5100 Series. FGLRX enabled (not updates; I also get errors). I can also confirm this bug, kinda! The description of what happens is exactly the same; a sheet of black across the screen when I come out of suspend (lift laptop lid). The difference for me is that it is totally random, or seems that way. There is no way I can replicate it intentionally. When this happens I can see enough to close all apps and logout. This gives a bit of a flash as if the screen is kicking into gear again and when I get to the login screen all is back to normal. I login and all is fine. Until the random anomoly eventually occurs again, as it does/will, in a day, a few, a week. It happens maybe one in ten times when I open the lid. But the problem is the same. Adjusting brightness does nothing to remedy the issue. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1015297 Title: Screen partially darkened after suspend and resume in Xubuntu To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/fglrx-installer/+bug/1015297/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 451282] Re: display is fully dimmed after resume from suspend
I'll add I'm not using any non-free drivers, using Xubuntu 10.04. Dimming after suspend not a problem in 10.10 or 11.04 with Xubuntu (or Ubuntu). [Bug 525902] Re: [iwlagn] Network card keeps dropping the connection
Having similar problem with Realtek RTL8191SEvB on 10.10, kernel 2.6.35-24. All runs fine but signal strength randomly drops to 56%, speed not quite 1Mbps ALL the time while the other three machines in the house are getting 10Mbps +. When signal strength drops, network activity seems to stop also. I'm thinking this might be somehow related to this bug.
