@Vish, Yeah, my bad, it seems that this bug is related to the RV515 generation. Whereas with my chipset (780G), previously I had this issue, and with the recent clutter update the bug was fixed. I'm also seeing the white screen for so many seconds with an ati radeon hd 3200 with unity vesion 2.28. Also I'm not sure why after the white screen unity is unbearably slow with artifacts everywhere. I am using software-center 2.0.5 When you press the more-info button on any package in the canonical- partners ppa no text is displayed in the field. This does not happen to any other ppa or package.
