I seem the have a similar problem. I am using a desktop computer with ubuntu gusty 7.10 gnome. And have bluetooth LT MX1000 leyboard and MX5000 mouse..
After about 15 min. my bluetooth mouse and keyboard lose connection and i am unable to reconnect other than sudo hidd --search.
