But I have exactly the same behavior using gmrun or shortcuts ! NO env, NO ssh-agent [for a sysadmin work, it's well, just imagine]... that's really, really, REALLY annoying. -- keyboard shortcup and shell https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/373111 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 247485] Re: [jaunty] Openoffice doesn't really use GVFS
Hello, indeed, it just works, now. Sometimes OOo ask for idents, when we don't touch fileserver through it for some time, but it's really not a problem. My Boss have a big smile now ;) Thanks for this update. I think we can close this bug... but I'll open two other for Firefox and Thunderbird : they have quiet the same problem. [Bug 257595] Re: localdef crashes on update (gutsy)

[Bug 373561] [NEW] [Jaunty] awesome version is REALLY deprecated
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: awesome Hello, Is it possible to have an up-to-date version for awesome ? as 2.3 is... well... it's unusable, and deprecated. Now they have 3.2, and this one is really stable... As source-compilation isn't really how ubuntu intends to install package, I think it can be a good idea to put awesome-3.2 in APT... [Bug 373111] [NEW] keyboard shortcup and shell
Public bug reported: Hello, I discover a nice thing in Jaunty : when we launch a shell from a keyboard shortcut (system -> preferences -> keyboard shortcut -> add), I don't have my environment, for example : - no ssh agent - I'm not in my home, but in / When I launch the same terminal from "run application" (std shortcut "alt+F2"), it's working nice. When I launch the same terminal from some icon in my pannel, it's working fine too. I tried with those terminals : - gnome-terminal - xterm - urxvtc - urxvt Same behaviour for all of them. System informations : Description:Ubuntu 9.04 Release:9.04 ii gnome-terminal 2.26.0-0ubuntu2 ii rxvt-unicode 9.06-1 ii xterm 241-1ubuntu1 Any idea ? Thanks. [Bug 247485] Re: [jaunty] Openoffice doesn't really use GVFS
Ok, thanks. For now we're using Intrepid, and this problem is still here... we'll try with jaunty when it's released [in some weeks if I'm not wrong]. I'll post update here when it's tested. [Bug 247485] Re: [jaunty] Openoffice doesn't really use GVFS
yep, indeed. Unfortunately, this mount won't appear in nautilus... so we have to use a shell to mount it (not that I care, but the other users will) -- [jaunty] Openoffice doesn't really use GVFS https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/247485 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 247485] Re: [jaunty] Openoffice doesn't really use GVFS
in fact, after some discussion with OOo developpers, it seems they're changing their lock system. it will be far better. still buggy for now, it should come in 3.x release. -- [jaunty] Openoffice doesn't really use GVFS https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/247485 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 261148] Re: oowriter doesn't behave like ooffice -writer
Hello, in fact you can't reproduce these errors if you don't have a samba share. here at work, we use a fileserver with smb sharing, and thus we have these problems. even on hardy, latest versions... Sure if you use directly your filesystem, it works really fine.
