[Bug 59323] Re: "Could not download all repository indexes" is hidden but has focus

[Bug 59323] "Could not download all repository indexes" is hidden but has focus
Public bug reported: System ->Administration->Update Manager If software updates fails to get all repository indexes it opens a window called "Could not download all repository indexes". This window appears behind the software updates window and is not visible if other windows are maximised. Software updates main window appears greyed out with a busy cursor until this second window is closed. The second window can be made visible by clicking "hide all windows and show the desktop" and then on Software Updates. This is confusing as it looks like you are waiting for software updates to do something - the second window should be in front of software updates. ** Affects: update-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Untriaged Status: Unconfirmed -- "Could not download all repository indexes" is hidden but has focus https://launchpad.net/bugs/59323 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 41099] Re: [dapper][totem-xine] when I try to change connection speed it crashes
Crashing for me in dapper. I will try and get a backtrace - I have the following with libc6-dbg and libglib2.0-0-dbg. By libxine1-dbg do you mean a debug version of libxine-main1? I will try and put together a debug version of that and of totem today. The totem version that crashes here is 1.4.3 (using libxine 1.1.1). It appears not to crash if a file isn't open in totem. I can get a crash everytime if an mp3 is open, not tested with other files. ** Attachment added: "backtrace with libc6-dbg and libglib2.0-0-dbg" http://librarian.launchpad.net/4147902/totem%20bug%20back%20trace%202 -- [dapper][totem-xine] when I try to change connection speed it crashes https://launchpad.net/bugs/41099 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
