[Bug 407762] [NEW] ubuntuone-syncdaemon maxes out system resources
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: ubuntuone-client Running Karmic on x86-64. After moving ~320mb of versioned software repositories to my Ubuntu One share, I've noticed that the Ubuntu One client is constantly working. Further inspection with top(1) shows the ubuntuone-syncdaemon running at max CPU and continually allocating more memory. This continued until my system slowed to a crawl and I was forced to SIGKILL ubuntuone- syncdaemon ( it didn't respond to SIGTERM ). When I restarted the ubuntuone-client, the ubuntuone-syncdaemon appeared to get in to its previous state, running at 100% CPU and constantly chewing up more memory. [Bug 186725] [NEW] System has frequent hiccups of unresponsiveness
Public bug reported: After anywhere from about a minute to five minutes after logging into the system, I start to experience what can only be described as a hiccup; The particular application that I am using at the moment, (I use gnome-terminal most of the time so it is most prevalent there, but I've also experienced it in firefox, pigdin, open office, and other applications ) becomes unresponsive to keyboard and mouse input until some sort of external action occurs. ( both closing / reopening the laptop lid and receiving and ssh connection have both caused the machine to become responsive again) I've checked both the kernel logs and the X server logs, but nothing seems to amiss according to the system, save for an occasional APIC error in the kernel. ( which are nowhere near frequent enough to occur at the same time the intermittent hiccups occur) I have Toshiba Satellite S7437 running hardy with the latest updates as of 1/28/08 applied. ** Affects: ubuntu-meta (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- System has frequent hiccups of unresponsiveness https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/186725 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
