[Bug 1870736] Re: [nvidia] Screen scaling 125% gives 200%
I installed driver version 460.39 and encountered what I assume is the same bug, the only usable scaling was 100% and 200% with the other fractional scaling options 'zoomed' in slightly so the right-hand side of the desktop was cut-off. I did however find a workaround on AU https://askubuntu.com/a/1321851/8570 that might help identify the problem. Open nvidia settings with root privileges: sudo nvidia-settings In PRIME profiles change *Performance* to *On-Demand* Restart system Verify that fractional scaling is working again Reopen nvidia-settings as above and change *On-Demand* back to *Performance* Restart system Verify that fractional scaling is still working -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1870736 Title: [nvidia] Screen scaling 125% gives 200% To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-control-center/+bug/1870736/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1788049] [NEW] Kernel 4.15.0-32 disables touchscreen in tablet mode on X1 Yoga
Public bug reported: After a linux kernel update to 4.15.0-32 the touchscreen on my X1 Yoga is disabled when rotated into tablet mode. This is a major regression since my laptop is unusable in tablet mode now. The touchscreen will work fine up until I rotate the screen 180 degrees and table mode is enabled. Rebooting with kernel 4.15.0-30 restores the laptop to the correct behaviour. [Bug 1475620] Re: grub-common does not unset "recordfail" on hibernate when using systemd
Any update on this bug being fixed or reported upstream? I spent ages trying to figure out why the grub menu was appearing with a 30secs timeout after hibernation when it was supposed to be set to hidden! It may be a trivial bug but it really is not obvious that recordfail would be set for clean shutdown and startup. This is on 17.04 lubuntu. To workaround the issue I used the forum thread details to create `/etc/systemd/system/hibernate-recordfail-fix` with the code below and then `systemctl enable hibernate-recordfail-fix`: [Unit] Description=Execute grub script to unset recordfail after hibernation. > I'd say that if the application can't run without the required file, it's a severe/actual error because it's no functional/operational. Why is the file not created at start instead of shutdown? The message should contain the information given here. It is running, you said so yourself. The values are stored in memory while running and default values are generated from code if the file is missing so the warning log can be ignored when first starting. [Bug 1487704] Re: Call to deluge.core.Torrent.set_trackers() fails when trackers parameter is None
I am a bit perplexed as to why this issue and patch is getting so much attention when has no bearing on end users. [Bug 1507382] [NEW] Corrupted output if format option specified in DI_ARGS env var
Public bug reported: I have been using di for years on my 12.04 server and found after upgrading to 14.04 Trusty I am now getting blank output from the command with format options specified in the DI_ARGS env var: export DI_ARGS="-f SMBuv2T -H -st -xnone,ext2" I narrowed it down to the `-f` options and if I remove a few then it will change from a blank output to a garbled or random symbols output suggesting that it is locale code related. There is no issue using these format options with the di command. So `di -f SMBuv2T` will output the correctly formatted information . This is with the latest version of di 4.34 and the previous working version on 12.04 was 4.30. ** Affects: di (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: trusty -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1507382 Title: Corrupted output if format option specified in DI_ARGS env var To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/di/+bug/1507382/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1270486] Re: indicator-application doesn't use the menu item's label if it has a stock icon
For Deluge we use the stock add icon and have custom text of "Add Torrent" but now it's just "Add", "Pause All" becomes "Pause" etc. so it is an issue and it is breaking with the convention that you can specify custom labels with stock icons in a GTK application. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1270486 Title: indicator-application doesn't use the menu item's label if it has a stock icon To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libdbusmenu/+bug/1270486/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
