I'm having the same problem with a Zaurus SL-5500. However, I'm not able to 
successfully load the zaurus module. 
I've downloaded the linux-source-2.6.24 module, played the .config game, and 
compiled the zaurus module (as "make drivers/net/usb/zaurus.ko"). Two things: I 
get a .o file, not a .ko file, and it refuses to load into the running kernel 
(2.4.16-19-generic) with the following error: 
insmod: error inserting 'drivers/net/usb/zaurus.ko': -1 Invalid module format
