Public bug reported: [Impact] Currently kpatch-build uses 'make' to build the kernel; however when we build the ubuntu kernel we use debian/rules to do the build. By using debian/rules we can match all build quirks. [Test Case] Use kpatch-build to build a patch. [Regression Potential] We are using a different mechanism to build the kernel, however the underlying mechanisms should be similar.
