[Bug 1580272] Re: i915-bpo crashes on external hdmi input

2016-05-12 Thread Chris J Arges
I've also tested this on 4.4.0-22 with i915 patches here:
http://koti.kapsi.fi/~tjaalton/skl/mst/
And the problem persists.

In addition I've tested a 4.6 mainline from 5/8 and the problem persists
there as well.

Here is the warning from the mainline kernel:

[Bug 1578661] [NEW] make kpatch-build kernel building match ubuntu build

2016-05-05 Thread Chris J Arges
Public bug reported:

[Impact]
Currently kpatch-build uses 'make' to build the kernel; however when we build
the ubuntu kernel we use debian/rules to do the build. By using debian/rules we
can match all build quirks.

[Test Case]
Use kpatch-build to build a patch.

[Regression Potential]
We are using a different mechanism to build the kernel, however the underlying
mechanisms should be similar. Testing is required to ensure this doesn't change
the behavior.

[Bug 1576455] Re: SRu kde-l10n-* translation packages

2016-05-04 Thread Chris J Arges
The version in yakkety is the following:
 kde-l10n-zhcn | 4:15.12.3-0ubuntu2 | yakkety/universe | source, all

The version you uploaded for xenial is identical and needs to be versioned
correctly such that it is less than yakkety.
