[Bug 915235] Re: muon-installer crash

2012-01-18 Thread Chris L.
Duplicated on two fresh installs.

When trying to apply updates after the first reboot. Muon package
manager locked up at 55%, had to kill the process.

Workaround:

sudo vi /etc/apt/sources.list "or use the text editor of your preference to
edit the file"
   uncomment these two lines
   # deb http://archive.canonical.com/ubuntu oneiric partner
   # deb-src http://archive.canonical.com/ubuntu oneiric partner

  sudo dpkg --configure -a
  sudo apt-get update
  sudo update-apt-xapian-index

[Bug 693087] [NEW] Warsow change of graphics settings causes crash

2010-12-21 Thread Chris L.
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-ati

Changing the graphics settings of www.warsow.net version 0.6 causes the game to
crash
enabling vsync for example causes this:

player entered the game

The game's developers sent me here, for it is most likely that it is a
bug in the driver.

Twitter Update does not work. Correct password used.

Publishing on Twitter works. Yet this here happens:

Going to try Joe Rays patch later today. If I grasp what he's done there.. :)

seems like nothing gets deleted from couchDB. Even after apt-get remove

[Bug 559063] Re: gwibber-accounts crashed with AttributeError in on_account_delete()

2010-04-28 Thread Chris L.
@Kamus

with the newest version I can in fact delete and recreate my Twitter and
Facebook account.
The workaround over the local firefox page of CouchDB did the thing in the
meantime. By now, it works with Gwibber as it should.
I just successfully deleted and recreated my Facebook account. No error message
popped open.

But..
I'm facing a different problem now. I changed my Twitter-password 3 days ago.
Since then, Gwibber cannot download new Tweets. I changed the password several
times to the correct new one, it did not affect this error. I deleted the
Twitter account via Gwibber and via CouchDB / Firefox.
Did not help. Cannot download new tweets. Maybe different bug.
