[Bug 1072146] Re: [Lenovo Thinkpad X220, Conexant CX20590] No microphone input
This is highly irritating, because at some point after the fresh installation the microphone worked perfectly fine, including Skype and everything. Could it be that a reinstallation would help? I already tried the 12.04 LTS Live-USB and it didn't seem to work there either. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1072146 Title: [Lenovo Thinkpad X220, Conexant CX20590] No microphone input To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/alsa-driver/+bug/1072146/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Unfortunately the trick with the L/R channel muting worked (on both "Internal Microphone" and "Microphone" devices I can see in pavucontrol). [Bug 521290] Re: keyboard layouts - no default layout for system
I have this issue too, I use two keyboard layouts: US and DE (German). Although US is at the top of the list (I believe this is how the default is set), sometimes the layout changes randomly to DE; usually when switching apps (although "Separate layout for each window" is disabled). I believe the older Gnome versions had a "default" checkbox for each entry in the layout list. -- keyboard layouts - no default layout for system https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/521290 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
