[Bug 1037164] Re: Clicking on semi-maximized windows in a different workspace fails to switch to the correct workspace
I can reproduce that on 13.04 64bit with compiz 1:0.9.9~daily13.04.18.1~13.04-0ubuntu1 This bug is present from the very beginning of Unity and have never been properly fixed despite the various reports and hundreds affected users. Ant it is, IT REALLY IS, a bit usability issue! It seems like nobody at Canonical cares enough... despite the many words said on how important quality is! My guess is, that we'll have to live with it until they move to MIR and introduce one gazillion of other bugs... and the same $/T comes all over again... -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1037164 Title: Clicking on semi-maximized windows in a different workspace fails to switch to the correct workspace To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/compiz/+bug/1037164/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 527157] Re: Brightness controls skips Levels.
Hello, I have this exact same issue on 12.04 32bits on Dell VOSTRO 3450. I am a bit confused of all the posts above... is there a patch for 12.04 at the end? Short instruction on how to apply the patch will be highly appreciated (or a link to a wiki or something about applying patches in general, if there is such thing at all). Sorry for the incompetence, I'm not that deep into Linux, but I would like to learn.
