Interestingly enough, I could repeatedly reproduce this error while Ubuntu One wasn't configured -- as soon as I configured it and restarted Rhythmbox everything was fine. Hi Brewster, After working through this one with ddecator, it seems that this happens when Ubuntu One is not connected and the synchronize option is selected. Running u1sdtool -c causes everything to sync up fine.
