[Bug 1586528] Re: Avahi-daemon withdraws address record
Same symptoms, same result on a headless always-on box running 16.04. Made worse by the fact that I have to hard-power off the box and hook it up to monitor for troubleshooting. Every couple weeks the machine will lose connection to the network. Last time I thought I lost the on-board NIC and went and bought/installed a new NIC card (another Realtek). Two weeks later, same result: syslog shows this: May 24 22:40:14 phaedrus avahi-daemon[857]: Withdrawing address record for 192.168.0.201 on enp4s1. May 24 22:40:14 phaedrus avahi-daemon[857]: Leaving mDNS multicast group on interface enp4s1.IPv4 with address 192.168.0.201. [Bug 515336] Re: nautilus crashes when TRASH, COMPUTER, or NETWORK clicked
I can report that I, too, had the same problem today on my Jaunty install after updates done on 01/31/2010. I was able to successfully rollback to the previous version of libglib2.0 and was able to open a "Network" connection again. The command that worked for me was aptitude install libglib2.0-0=2.20.1-0ubuntu2.1 The computer warned me of three other programs that would be affected and offered to downgrade them as well. I accepted the solution and everything went through fine. No other problems have been noticed so far. -- nautilus crashes when TRASH, COMPUTER, or NETWORK clicked https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/515336 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
