Same problem here. Removing ~/.eclipse didn't help. Will try to purge
the whole Eclipse-installation tomorrow... Would be awful to have an LTS
without Eclipse...

[Bug 299379] [NEW] IMAPv2 gives "From length has to be between 1 and 1024" Warning

2008-11-18 Thread Clemens Hupka
Public bug reported:

This concerns the Intrepid version package 5.2.6-0ubuntu3. Hardy works
perfect.

See upstream Bug:

http://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=45460

I patched this quick and dirty for my server... Will try to make a
proper patch in the next days...

** Affects: php-imap (Ubuntu)

[Bug 199073] Re: [Hardy] Eclipse 3.2 crashes

2008-04-02 Thread Clemens Hupka

Had exactly the same problem after an upgrade from Gutsy to Hardy Beta.

I downgraded sun-java6-bin and sun-java6-jre. This fixed my problem

[Bug 204010] Re: networking not working

2008-04-01 Thread Clemens Hupka

Mark, i can confirm that the problem ist present on amd64 AND i386... Tested
both of them a few days ago.

Both (amd64 and i386) are working with 2.6.22-14-xen from gutsy on domU
and 2.6.24-12-xen from hardy-beta on dom0 with xen3.2 following the
steps described in the initial bug report

And quite stable for a couple of days now...

In my opinion, the xennet driver has a problem. I found out that packets
are going out from domU (TX are getting on the bridge, arp-whohas at
least) but no replies are comming into the domU (RX stays 0, even if the
replys get on the bridge, as well as a couple of Broadcasts)

So long,
Clemens.

[Bug 188178] Re: [Hardy] [regression] xorg with Intel driver crashes if Virtual > 2048

2008-03-31 Thread Clemens Hupka

Had almost the same problem after an update from gutsy to hardy, used URandR
dualscreen setup on gutsy:

Option "MigrationHeuristic" "greedy"

AND

Option "DRI" "false" # Was set true on gutsy

Prevents from crashing with a virtual of 2960x1050

[Bug 199533] Re: Device 0 (vif) could not be connected. Hotplug scripts not working.

2008-03-19 Thread Clemens Hupka
I have some similar problems... Followed almost all of the instructions
on this thread, on a hardy Alpha6 i386 (and amd64)

I have the vif figuring on the right bridge, interface figuring up in
the domU, firewall rule (phys-in-thing) up, so all i've found seem to be
allright, but not a single packet gets its way to the domU. Arp-packets
emitted from the Hardy-domU gets onto the bridge, but the basic arp-
reply (is-at) never gets to the domU.

Logs and traces are quite normal, no error, no anomalities...

Both dom0 & domU are running on hardy Alpha6.
Bridges are xen-3.2 (eth0 bridge with peth0 if)

Already did a deep research on the net, but no got no clue.

Anyone an idea? Could this be a kernel-issue???
