Isn't that misleading, reading https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_Metafile ?
It is basically a vector format, designed for Windows, Windows EMF, that allows
for using the Windows GDI, Graphical Device Interface?

(In reply to Mike Kaganski from comment #17)

[Bug 1574347] Re: [SRU] Re-read the link type if the name changed

2016-08-02 Thread Cno
FYI: From what I experienced, there is a complex of (probably related) problems.
NB: I'm applying Ubuntu updates continuously.

Somewhere a year ago, I started experiencing a problem when moving in my house,
when apparently another access/antenna of the router was picked. Suspend/wake
up was not necessary to have that problem: wifi crashed and no relief of
networkmanager restart.
The problem in also showed when I was using my smartphone as hotspot.
In other locations, it happened rather seldom.

Now some time after the 16.04 the problem changed: the provious bug
disappeared; the bug described here poped up. Which is less annoying,
since there are work arounds.

[Bug 1404358]

> I am using LibreOffice Version: 5.1.0.3 Build ID:
> 1:5.1.0~rc3-0ubuntu1~trusty0; the bug is still there.

Hi Seakha,

Sorry to read that you have problems with this. And thanks for checking
and reporting.

Now looking at the original report:

(In reply to Regina Henschel from comment #0)
> Created attachment 47570 [details]
> Testdocument for shift+click
>
> Open attached document click on first rectangle. Then shift+click on second
> rectangle.
> Expected: Both rectangles are selected together.
> Seen: The selection jumps to the picture.

This simply works for me in 5.0.5.2 on Ubuntu (thus didn't bother to check
other versions.)
Therefor I expect your problem to be a (bit) different. Could you please open a
new issue with clear description of the steps and test document as attachment?

(And even if the same problem would have occurred, there would have been
another underlying problem probably, thus also then a new issue is the
way to go :) )

Closing again..

Is this related to "Use only paper size from printer preferences"

[Bug 641175]

2013-09-12 Thread Cno
Did some testing in 4.1.1.2:

One slide
One master slide
Change width of both text boxes is master slide.
Back to normal view.
   > changes not visible.

Create new masters slide also with different width for text boxes
Back to normal view.
Apply MasterPage2
   > changes not visible

However ... the changes do show in the preview of the master slides...

Now add a slide
   > has MasterPage2 applied
Apply first master page
   > Only one of the text boxes is changed

Now add third slide
  > both master pages can be applied there and show all changes

The funny thing is, that for the first and second slide the behaviour is
still the same, as described above :D

I cannot reproduce this with 3.5.2 and master from 2012-04-10 on Ununtu 11:04.
However, I sometimes have strange crashes, so can immagine that the sequence of
the original bug report does lead to a crash

I cannot reproduce this bug anymore.
So the other one must be different / special case.

That bug says specifically 'Buttons on forms' thus is far more specific
then this bug. So I doubt if one could see it as a duplicate. Maybe a
related corner case?

Anyway, I'm testing 3.5.2 now with the steps I used previously to
reproduce that bug ...

[Bug 891522]

Hi Hans-Peter,
I've seen this before, I think.

I think I solved it by removing the default names of the elements, or narrowing
the boxes, or ... ?
Abyway, I confirm this, also in 3.5.0rc1
