Any solution for this?

2012-05-26 Thread Cristobal Tapia
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 984387 ***
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/984387

I had the same problem using also a Dell Studio XPS 13. I was able to install
ubuntu with the option noacpi, but now i'm having problems when
plunging/unplugging the charger. It freezes the computer.
I'll try updating the kernel.

2008-04-14 Thread Cristobal Tapia
Hi, thanks a lot for helping me with this problem! =D Your answer was faster
than I expected xD ...that is great!!

So, I did the following:
I downloaded the file you told me to, then

dpkg --extract libxft2_2.1.12-1_i386.deb /tmp

 sudo mkdir -p /opt/medusa4_pers_v3_0/lib

 sudo cp /tmp/usr/lib/libXft.so.2* /opt/medusa4_pers_v3_0/lib

 LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/opt/medusa4_pers_v3_0/lib
/opt/medusa4_pers_v3_0/master_project/startmedusa

at this pint the program gives me the following message:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~/Escritorio$ LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/opt/medusa4_pers_v3_0/lib

Any idea of what the problem might be. By the way, i'm using ubuntu 8.04.
Thank you again for helping me!
