[Bug 243942] Re: Nautilus doesn't update title and address bar when clicking twice on open parent folder button

2008-07-10 Thread DalaiDakkar
Hi, I'm having a similar issue here, whenever I enter a folder with a
lot of pictures if I click to fast on another subfolder before nautilus
ends drawing all the thumbnails, when I'm inside the subfolder the
address bar still shows the address of the folder 1 level up... example:

*I am in /home
*I click /home/pictures
*nautilus starts drawing all the thumbs and scrollbar makes larger and larger
*before nautilus ends this operation I click on a folder named party inside
/home/pictures
*now I'm inside /home/pictures/party but the address bar still showing
/home/pictures

The really bad thing about this situation is that when I use keyboard shortcuts
to go back or parent folder they take me to
/home instead of /home/pictures which is very annoying when fast keyboard
navigating through folders

thanks for help in advance..

Thank you very much,

I guess I was wrong posting it as a bug, anyway here's how I solved it just
in case

Cheers!

Thanks for your comments. This does not appear to be a bug report as
such. We appreciate the difficulties you are facing, but it would make
more sense to raise your question in the support tracker.
http://launchpad.net/support. You likely built an outdated version of
libglib in /usr/local which is taking over the Ubuntu one
