Re: [Bug 2067063] Re: Screen lock issue allowing to see private information
I was using the 'Dash to Panel' extension in Gnome, but today I disabled it and restarted my computer. Since then, the issue has not recurred. It seems that the extension may be related to the problem. I will keep it disabled to confirm whether the solution was due to the restart or the disabling of the extension. [Bug 160380] Re: gwenview fails to launch external tool
I have the same problem with Kubuntu 7.10, gwenview 1.4.1-1ubuntu2. The external tools configuration has the Name set to The GIMP and the Command set to gimp-remote -n %F. From the error message (reported above) it looked like Gwenview was executing the Name instead of the Command. I changed the name to LS and it reported the same error (Could not find the program 'LS'). I changed the name to ls and there was no error and nothing happened. I changed the name to gimp-remote -n %F and again there was no error message, but again nothing happened. Same thing with xterm as a name. None of the external tools will launch with any configuration and the error is reported if the Name setting is not a command. All very odd. It does seem like Gwenview is treating the name as a command and, at the least, checking if it exists on the path. It does not seem to execute it, though. Is it possible that Gwenview launches these commands through some sort of service that I haven't got running? Or maybe it's just a simple bug. -- gwenview fails to launch external tool https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/160380 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
