[Bug 1287594] Re: Import fail with error message about photo library not being writeable
I'm seeing the same error on my machine, 14.04, AMD64. Shotwell copies the photos to the library location, but fails to add them to the database or display them in the program. I've tried deleting the library location, changing it to default location of ~/Pictures, checked the permissions on the folders to be sure that they're 770. I've also checked the permissions on the library database and have deleted the database a few times to see if that's the issue. I've checked the photo.db file in ~/.local/share/shotwell/data folder, and the PhotoTable table is empty after each import. I've also tried turning off the "Write tags titles and other metadata to photo files" option and the "rename imported files to lowercase" option. [Bug 700200] [NEW] gtk-vnc: incorrect colors on connection to PowerPC running Mac OS X 10.5.8 -- Endianness issue again
Public bug reported: Ubuntu version: 10.10 gtk-vnc version: 0.4.1-3ubuntu2 When I attempt to connect to my PowerPC running Mac OS X 10.5.8, the colors are all off. There is a general yellow cast to the screen, reds appear greenish, greens appear reddish, etc. This would seem to be similar or related to the endian issue which was brought up in this bug report for Hardy Heron: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gtk- vnc/+bug/212504 This behavior only occurs when using clients which make use of the gtk- vnc package. xvnc4viewer is unaffected by this issue, as are other clients.
