[Bug 1961488] [NEW] radeon module unloaded with 20.04 after upgrade from 18.04
Public bug reported: I upgraded a computer running Ubuntu 18.04 with AMD ATI RS482/RS485 Radeon Xpress 1100/1150 without problem. [Bug 1801747] [NEW] External display not recognized, internal one goes to black
Public bug reported: Hi, I have 10 notebooks HP 1410s on which I replace XP/Vista with Ubuntu 18.04.1 I face a problem on ALL of them, as soon as I connect an external screen, doesn't matter VGA or HDMI, the internal screen goes black, only mouse icon is their, blinking from time to time but reacting. External screen does show nothing but there is no "no signal" info what means that source is recognized. As soon as I release the video cable from external display, the internal one come back to live after few seconds. The BIOS was updated to latest available. [Bug 768524] Re: Kernel Panic on boot because of vt6656_stage driver
I'm not a Ubuntu user, but I can confirm that the Herton's patch works on Debian Squeeze as the system boots correctly without any kernel panic. Though, the driver is still unusable. It won't scan or trying to connect to any ESSID. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/768524 Title: Kernel Panic on boot because of vt6656_stage driver -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 289325] Re: Totem won't play YouTube
Dear John, in that case this bug doesn't fit to your problem since it's about a mediaplayer called Totem and not about the Flash-Player. You should search another bugreport which fits to your problem. [Bug 289325] Re: Totem won't play YouTube
@johnseddon: Please state if your bug affects viewing videos in Totem (and other video-programs) OR only affects viewing online-flash-videos (in your browser e.g. Firefox) Flash-Plugins shouldn't affect your ability to view Youtube-videos in Totem. I may not help much, since I don't use 9.04 anymore. -- Totem won't play YouTube https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/289325 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 353397] Re: When watching video, any window over video causes corrupt display and logout
I have a Intel GM965/GL960, 32bit, no Compiz and get exactly the same error (e.g. when a tooltip from the window manager or another window overlays the video). When using mplayer like this 'mplayer -vo x11' to avoid 'xv' there is no problem. ** Attachment added: "lspci.txt" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/25793365/lspci.txt -- When watching video, any window over video causes corrupt display and logout https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/353397 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 56114] Re: [edgy] Install race condition/memory leak
Same here with my old Travelmate 600-Laptop. 233Mhz, 64MB Ram and 4 Gigabytes of Space. Seems like the installation-process isn't (properly) using the preconfigured swap-Space. It worked for me to kill the process of the anthy-installation and now it's continuing the installation without any further problems. I am also using the alternate Xubuntu-CD. I hope the info is enough and that there won't be such a bug in GG. :) -- [edgy] Install race condition/memory leak https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/56114 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
