[Bug 1726097] [NEW] User session crash directly after login and user is back at login screen.
Public bug reported: After upgrade from Ubuntu 17.04 I was no longer able to login. First I thought it was because of the new display server but the same thing happened when using X. I did a reset of dconf and was then able to login to the GNOME session, but trying to login to the Ubuntu session the screen blackout out shortly after entering the password and I was back at the login screen. I found that if I enabled the Ubuntu dock in the GNOME session same thing happened - but while logged in. Gnome Shell crashed and I was back at the login screen. Now I was no longer able to login to the Gnome session either and had to do another reset of dconf. I then uninstalled the gnome-shell-extension-ubuntu-dock package and tried to login to the Ubuntu session and it worked. I of course had to try to trying to keep singeling it out, and when I now installed that package again I am unable to use the Ubuntu session, but Gnome session (without the Ubuntu dock enabled) works. [Bug 1574125] [NEW] suspend not working after uprade
Public bug reported: Hi, Upgraded from Ubuntu 15.10 where suspend workes flawlessly. After upgrade, putting machine in suspend turns the monitor black and everything seem to be off, though the fan still spins, the power light is on and the battery is trained. Nothing seem to wake it up (Meaning different key combinations - trying to get a shell by Ctrl+Alt+F1, for example; pressing power, any other key). Unsure how to try to get it working since I have to kill the power by pressing down the power button, then restarting it (it then does a drive scan for errors). Public bug reported: Fresh install of Ubuntu 14.10. It worked at first, but suddenly the chat notifications from Empathy are shown in a seperate windows named telepathy-indicator-service. The usual notifications are still shown, though. The new window contains three buttins: Ok, View and Close. None that work. Also I can't write to any users in Empathy any longer. [Bug 1305305] Re: Wifi keeps dropping.
This bug is probably related to the iwlwifi kernel module, as statet above. The module should have added support for the Intel 7260 chipset since Linux 3.12. Ubuntu 14.04 uses 3.13. Has there been a regression, perhaps? Could it be something about the new 802.11ac tech? Issues with earlier card proposes to disable N. Perhaps I should try to disable AC and just use N.
