[Bug 1199877] Re: unity-panel-service memory leak and 100% CPU usage
Same here, also with Owncloud client (installed from PPA, currently version 2.2.4). The problem only occurred after upgrading to Ubuntu 16.10. 100% CPU and 1.8 GB memory consumption. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1199877 Title: unity-panel-service memory leak and 100% CPU usage To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/indicator-appmenu/+bug/1199877/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1522727] [NEW] X.org crashes intermittently, randomly
Public bug reported: Since upgrading to Ubuntu 15.10, X.org crashes intermittently. The screen will suddenly turn black, and after a few seconds, the LightDM login screen appears. All unsaved work is lost of course. A clean install of 15.10 did not help, the problem persists. It happens absolutely randomly. I haven't been able to figure out any pattern related to time or specific user interaction that would cause this, except that I believe the crash is always triggered by some kind of input device action, i.e. mouse click or key press. The system won't crash if I don't actively do any work. [Bug 1515551] Re: Several laptops unstable with 15.10 kernels
+1 on a ThinkPad T430s with Intel graphics. Mostly random freezes and random crashes of Xorg. First I thought it was a problem introduced with upgrading (14.10 -> 15.04 -> 15.10), so I performed a clean install, to no avail. Have been reluctant to downgrade so far. (Interestingly, I just now managed to crash the X server three times in a row by clicking on the 'Edit' button in the 'Shutter' screenshot application. Don't know if that is technically related.) When I mentioned it on the [forums][1], there was one other user who had a similar problem, so that makes us 3.
