[Bug 919168] Re: autoset "nautilus --no-desktop"
1. Log in setting fluxbox as window manager, right click on desktop and open Chrome or firefox, download file, save to location, have nautilus starts. Right click on desktop to open some other program, get context menu for creating new folder etc 2. Expected behavior, right clicking on desktop brings up fluxbox menu 3. Actually happens, right clicking on desktop brings up context menu for nautilus ** Changed in: nautilus (Ubuntu) Status: Expired => Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/919168 Title: autoset "nautilus --no-desktop" To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/919168/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1050021] Re: autofs failed to mount .hidden
automount key ".hidden" not found in map source(s). Using autofs-ldap, auto.master etc in LDAP. User can access auto mounts via terminal fine. Nautilus just sits there doing nothing. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1050021 Title: autofs failed to mount .hidden To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/autofs/+bug/1050021/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 573919] Re: NIS-based autofs maps don't load on startup
In reference to LDAP, it probably is the same bug, if you're using autofs-ldap which is part of the same source package then you can have you auto.master in LDAP, so you probably don't have openldap running locally, but require the network to be working before starting autofs to do ldap queries to find out the auto.master. I am effected by this problem, restarting the autofs service after the network is up makes it work, I do not have openldap running locally on client machines using autofs. the fix in #569757 will probably not help autofs-ldap users. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/573919 Title: NIS-based autofs maps don't load on startup To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/autofs/+bug/573919/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 589655] Re: .ICEauthority and gconf-sanity-check-2 problems on login DOMAIN account
I am experiencing a similar problem. Same error messages. Recently upgraded from 8.04 LTS to 10.04 LTS. Although it is an intermittent problem and I cannot pin down why it sometimes works or doesn't work. When getting these error messages none of the menu bars appear. When there's not a problem everything appears to be normal. The home directory is mounted from a FreeBSD NFS server. Having the lock manager turn off gives a similar problem. Looking at the permissions of the ~/.ICEauthority file, it is owned by the user and is readable by the user. Hopefully this does not effect a similar setup at work with a lot more users and desktops. -- .ICEauthority and gconf-sanity-check-2 problems on login DOMAIN account https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/589655 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
