[Bug 1088889] Re: Would be cool if the Ubuntu logo would be shown by default instead of the Debian logo
The package is copied from Debian, so we do not intend to change it. Ubuntu can repackage to include these changes. [Bug 661639] [NEW] Ubuntu freezes to death in random intervals
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xorg This has been happening since 10.4, now on 10.10 this happens too. I checked RAM with memtest running whole night, also it seams not to be graphics card issue - i tried nvidia drivers and open source drivers. The system freezes, caps lock, num lock lights are blinking. The problem is also that troubleshooting does not work. The ssh method won't show any new logs. System just freezes to death, it is totally unresponsive (sysrq does not work too). This happens in variuos scenarios, but always there is some user action - it never freezes by itself. [Bug 660980] [NEW] Incorrect dual display behaviour
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xorg using ubuntu 10.10 on the hardware as attached by apport. Normally in 10.04 when I did dual display it worked fine. Now the display is detected fine, but I cannot move any of the windows to the external display. However i can move few pixels of them, they can be seen on the left edge, like just a small piece of them. My workaround is to move the external display below the main display, then it works. I assume it can be some problem with virtual resolution ? The external display is LG 24, 1900x1200 resolution. Mirror works perectly fine, the problem is only with the dual head.
