only build on i386 and amd64. This should worry Ubuntu anyway, since you

[Bug 783904] Re: firefox crashes unity-2d

2011-05-17 Thread Dariusz Dwornikowski
There is no specific page that crashed, opening a gmail tab just crashes
everything. It may be caused by FoxyTab extensions that uses flash.
.xsession-errors is not present after the crash - the whole computer
crashed, sometime X exists and kernel messages are shown in the
terminal. I cannot paste them, as they scroll very fast. Ill try to go
deeper into the problem by uninstalling flashplayer for some time and
will get back to the bug.

[Bug 666639] [NEW] Duplex printing with garbage on HP P2055dn

2010-10-26 Thread Dariusz Dwornikowski
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: cups

This is major for me. When I print something in duplex on my HP P2055dn
I get total garbage. The garbage is not unreadable, the letters are just
scattered and interleaving on each other. Pictures are printed
correctly. I print with network.

Also in one page printing it is OK too.

It was totally OK on 10.04. Please fix this. I cannot work without
duplex (also it saves paper and trees).

[Bug 661639] Re: Ubuntu freezes to death in random intervals

2010-10-26 Thread Dariusz Dwornikowski
A small update. I disabled DRI and GLX and seems that is freezes only
2-3 times a day now. I have and impression too (it is only an
impression) that freezes take place when there are disk writes. For
example ubuntu freezes often when transmission is running or a USB disk
is written to.

[Bug 661639] [NEW] Ubuntu freezes to death in random intervals

2010-10-16 Thread Dariusz Dwornikowski
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xorg

This has been happening since 10.4, now on 10.10 this happens too. I
checked RAM with memtest running whole night, also it seams not to be
graphics card issue - i tried nvidia drivers and open source drivers.
The system freezes, caps lock, num lock lights are blinking. The problem
is also that troubleshooting does not work. The ssh method won't show
any new logs. System just freezes to death, it is totally unresponsive
(sysrq does not work too).

This happens in variuos scenarios, but always there is some user action
- it never freezes by itself.

Im now like desperate - cannot work on it. 5-6 freezes a day.

[Bug 660980] [NEW] Incorrect dual display behaviour

2010-10-15 Thread Dariusz Dwornikowski
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xorg

using ubuntu 10.10 on the hardware as attached by apport. Normally in
10.04 when I did dual display it worked fine. Now the display is
detected fine, but I cannot move any of the windows to the external
display. However i can move few pixels of them, they can be seen on the
left edge, like just a small piece of them.

My workaround is to move the external display below the main display,
then it works. I assume it can be some problem with virtual resolution ?

The external display is LG 24, 1900x1200 resolution.

Mirror works perectly fine, the problem is only with the dual head.
