[Bug 21186] Re: grub uses wrong bootparameters with sda after install
I can confirm this bug on my system. I'm using an IDE drive and an additional SATA. Normally, grub-config wouldn't hose my system, but on the Dec 13th upgrade, it did. [Bug 21186] Re: grub uses wrong bootparameters with sda after install
I can confirm this bug on my system. I'm using an IDE drive and an additional SATA. Normally, grub-config wouldn't hose my system, but on the Dec 13th upgrade, it did. My root line was changed from (0,4) to (1,4) and left me with an unbootable system for a while (since it was hard to diagnose because the error was #15, File not found). -- grub uses wrong bootparameters with sda after install https://launchpad.net/bugs/21186 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 109312] Tray icon plugin works erratically
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xchat-gnome When using the system tray plugin notification icon, I get an erratic behavior. For example, initially, if I click on the tray icon (to hide the xchat-gnome window), I get an error similar to this one: "xchat gnome plugin called without a valid context". The window is not hidden of course. After a while, and after switching desktops and windows, the icon starts working and does so until I close the program. When reopened, the bug is back. This was not happening in Edgy. Now after upgrading to Feisty, I get the bug in both my machines. ** Affects: xchat-gnome (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- Tray icon plugin works erratically https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/109312 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 109312] Re: Tray icon plugin works erratically
I'm using xchat-gnome. The exact error is: Sound Notification xchat_command called without a valid context.
