[Bug 81854] Re: rdesktop locks keyboard
Using Ubuntu 13.04 (rdesktop 1.7.1), I can confirm that a network disconnect still locks the keyboard for my entire system. The only solution is to kill the rdesktop process. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/81854 Title: rdesktop locks keyboard To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/rdesktop/+bug/81854/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 850106] Re: Fails to append sent mail to mbox in post-processing
Upgraded from ubuntu 10.04 to 13.04. Same problem as everyone else; bug still there. Comment #8 fixed it. Although re-setting the default sent folder caused Evolution to crash, it worked properly upon relaunch. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/850106 Title: Fails to append sent mail to mbox in post-processing To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/evolution/+bug/850106/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 659536] Re: Simple scan in Ubuntu 10.10 does not scan in black and white at all.
This bug is still there for the brscan driver; apparently the fix only applies to the brscan3 driver. I have a Brother MFC-9700, which uses the brscan driver. In Ubuntu 10.04, Simple Scan worked as expected; a text scan was fast and black and white. Now that I've upgraded to Ubuntu 13.04, text scans are slow and grey-scale. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/659536 Title: Simple scan in Ubuntu 10.10 does not scan in black and white at all. [Bug 636711] Re: 10.10 can't mount squashfs file system
Same problem here with 10.04 32-bit. Trying to run the Live CD on a Dell Intel server. Verified the MD5sum. Very frustrating, especially since this is a broken Windows machine and I was all set to send Linux gparted to the rescue. Evidently Ubuntu needs a rescue. :( -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/636711 Title: 10.10 can't mount squashfs file system To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/636711/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 636711] Re: 10.10 can't mount squashfs file system
I should add that I'm using a CD-R, and that I tried the suggestion of unplugging all USB drives, to no avail. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/636711 Title: 10.10 can't mount squashfs file system To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/636711/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 673104] Re: Synaptic 0.63.1 crashes when using quicksearch
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 739237 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/739237 The recent posts say that this is a duplicate of bug #739237, but the link to that bug doesn't work, and a search for that bug number turns up nothing. This is a rather serious bug that seems to affect a lot of people, if you see all the threads on the subject in the Ubuntu forums. On my system (Ubuntu 10.04 64-bit), not only does the quick search crash Synaptic, but I can't do ANY searches in the Ubuntu Software Center. Tried reinstalling Xapian and rebuilding the index, to no avail. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/673104 Title: Synaptic 0.63.1 crashes when using quicksearch -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 703747] [NEW] Samba Print Server 10.04 Documentation Doesn't Work
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: ubuntu-docs I followed all of the directions in the Samba Print Server documentation for 10.04, in order to share my ubuntu printer with a Windows Vista client. After following the instructions, I could see my printer in Vista, and was able to add it, but Vista could not print to it. I then found a page with slightly different instructions, and they worked. In addition to what the Ubuntu documentation describes, I also made the following edits to smb.conf get print sharing fully operational: In the Printing section: load printers = yes printing = cups printcap name = cups In the Printers section: use client driver = yes printable = yes public = yes writable = yes security = share Print sharing is a very basic function that should be easy to use, and it is very frustrating when the official instructions don't work; it makes one wonder if the fault lies with ubuntu itself. ** Affects: ubuntu-docs (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/703747 Title: Samba Print Server 10.04 Documentation Doesn't Work -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
