[Bug 1254102] [NEW] Bluetooth doesn't connect after upgrade to 13.10 (Connection Failed: Stream setup failed)

2013-11-22 Thread Dejan Jovanović
Public bug reported:

I recently upgraded to 13.10 (from 12.04) and my Bluetooth is now
refusing to connect to the speakers. Previously both my USB bluetooth
dongle and the internal bluetooth used to connect no problem.

When I try to connect the speakers beep (as they usually do when a
connection is established), but then they immediately disconnect with a
message "Connection Failed: Stream setup failed".

It's a ThinkPad x230 Tablet, and I've upgraded the BIOS for this
occasion (doesn't help)

sudo dmidecode -s bios-version
GCET96WW (2.56 )

The ubuntu version is

lsb_release -rd
Description:Ubuntu 13.10
Release:13.10

The package version is

apt-cache policy blueman

[Bug 1090526] [NEW] browser freezes completely

2012-12-14 Thread Dejan Jovanović
Public bug reported:

Starting chromium-browser and entering the following URL completely
freezes the whole browser (not only a tab):

https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/zotero-
connector/ekhagklcjbdpajgpjgmbionohlpdbjgc

The browser output includes the following suspicious line:

Failed to open VDPAU backend libvdpau_nvidia.so: cannot open shared
object file: No such file or directory

The process that takes up 100% of the CPU is:

chromium-browser --type=gpu-process --channel=12010.2.405749741 --gpu-
vendor-id=0x10de --gpu-device-id=0x00cd --gpu-driver-vendor=NVIDIA
--gpu-driver-version=304.

The graphics card I am using:

01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation NV41 [Quadro FX 3450/4000
SDI] (rev a2) (prog-if 00 [VGA controller])

[Bug 742248] Re: time reports incorrect max rss

2012-05-09 Thread Dejan Jovanović
What is the way ahead with this. I submitted the bug a year ago, and
it's lame that nobody except Peter cares about it. Is there something I
can do to speed it up?
