[Bug 1522675] Re: /root/.synaptic/ not created due to locking status
Is there a fix for this yet? It's still happening on Ubuntu 16.04 with all updates as of 07/24/2016. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1522675 Title: /root/.synaptic/ not created due to locking status To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/apt/+bug/1522675/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1545766] [NEW] "cpu frequency scaling monitor" missing text in panel on gnome-flashback
Public bug reported: I installed the "cpu frequency scaling monitor" in the panel. It only shows the icon, even when the preferences are set to show both the icon and text. If you set it to text only, there is nothing showing in the panel. There isn't even a space next to the icon where the text should be. The applet does works to change cpu frequency, the icon changes with speed, and if you hover the cursor over the icon there's a tooltip showing the current state, but there's no text next to the icon. It's the same no matter what window/icon theme is used. I'm using Ubuntu Gnome 14.04 with gnome-flashback. ** Affects: gnome-applets (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1545766 Title: "cpu frequency scaling monitor" missing text in panel on gnome- flashback To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-applets/+bug/1545766/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1539714] Re: libnl update on Ubuntu 14.04 breaks networking on restart
I've been able to duplicate this on two different computers. Allowing "pre-released updates" to update these three libnl packages breaks networking. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1539714 Title: libnl update on Ubuntu 14.04 breaks networking on restart To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libnl/+bug/1539714/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1539714] [NEW] libnl update on Ubuntu 14.04 breaks networking on restart
Public bug reported: I had the "pre-released updates" box checked in my software updates. When I did an update yesterday and rebooted, I lost wired/wireless networking and Network Manager wouldn't start. When accessing System Settings->Network, I get "The system network services are not compatible with this version". I couldn't roll back the update with synaptic because I had no network access, so I had to download 3 files (libnl-3-200_3.2.21-1_amd64.deb libnl-genl-3-200_3.2.21-1_amd64.deb libnl-route-3-200_3.2.21-1_amd64.deb) from http://packages.ubuntu.com/source/trusty/libnl3 on another computer and transfer them via flashdrive then run "sudo dpkg -i *.deb" on the files. After that all was normal. I posted a forum message at http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2311705 about this. ** Affects: libnl (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1539714 Title: libnl update on Ubuntu 14.04 breaks networking on restart To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libnl/+bug/1539714/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
