[Bug 876247] Re: Evolution crash when I start any operation

2011-10-19 Thread Derek Harding
Upgrade from 11.04 to 11.10 on nearly new Toshiba notepad.
Have been using Thunderbird so Evolution never configured.
Decided to change, reaches opening "Add account" wizard then disappears when
button pressed.

[Bug 361632] Re: The Evolution calendars have quit unexpectedly

2009-05-12 Thread Derek Harding
Using Jaunty64 Evolution 2.26.1.
I have a calendar connected to M$Exchange and when I add my Google calendar, I
get the"quit unexpectedly" error. What trace/debug/etc can I attach to help?
I cannot connect to public Exchange calendars, it doesn't seem to find them and
also throws u[ this error.
Also, deleting calendars is a bit haphazard and if I rename one then I get both
the old and the new names.
I rebuilt the whole .evolution directory afresh but it didn't help.

2009-03-12 Thread Derek Harding
I was doing a reinstall after a complete remove. Following the error, I
opened a console and ran the reinstall by hand, apparently successfully.

2007-11-16 Thread Derek Harding
Hi Paul,

Actually, now I've checked back, this wasn't a bug which I reported was
it?

Even so, my comment about gutsy stands - no problems so far.

I thought the error related to the Panel apps lister but I now realise
it is with mailman. I have not yet run newlist so perhaps that is the
reason.

[Bug 87186] [apport] gnome-app-install crashed with UnicodeDecodeError in description()

2007-02-22 Thread Derek Harding
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-app-install

I was using the Add/Remove option from Applications.
The apps seem to have been added in spite of the error reports.
I am adding this report to provide further diagnostics to the already reported
bug - sorry if that is inappropriate.
