[Bug 1912690] Re: Bluetooth transaction timeout on startup

2021-03-17 Thread Detlef Brendle
today my computer got stuck on startup again.
So I believe that the error is still present.

Do you need logs from my side ?

2021-03-11 Thread Detlef Brendle
The error came from time to time - say every 10th start.
I have not noticed it for long, but maybe it is still there.

I will update you once it appears again.

[Bug 1326225] [NEW] Unity Dash and Sidboard gone after package upgrade

2014-06-03 Thread Detlef Brendle
Public bug reported:

Hi,
Im working with Ubuntu 14.04 and have done a normal software upgrade yesterday.
With that my Unity seems to be broken.
After rebooting the X Session appears without window decoration and without the
Unity Dash, Sidebar and Top Bar.

I could not see what is wrong on my machine.
I also tried to delete the '~/.config' folder but without success.
Some settings seems to be corrupt but I cannot find what.

Im running Ubuntu 14.04 on a Dell M3800.

Unity package version is:

[Bug 492969] [NEW] evolution[2560]: segfault error 4 in libc-2.10.1.so

2009-12-05 Thread Detlef Brendle
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: evolution

When evolution loads all emails from my IMAP accounts it always crashes after a
few seconds.
The error I found in /var/log/messages says :
"evolution[2560]: segfault at 0 ip b5fc9b2c sp b3b3fdc0 error 4 in
libc-2.10.1.so[b5f99000+13e000]"

This error is a result of a new system installation due to a hard disk
journaling error.

[Bug 277541] [NEW] startup system with 8.10 hangs sometimes

2008-10-03 Thread Detlef Brendle
Public bug reported:

>From time to time my system startup hangs quite early in the startup
procedure. From what I have seen in the log files (when the system
starts up properly) the next thing logged on the console would be the
network status.

Im running on the latest Intrepid updates. It does not matter what
kernel version Im using - it occasionally (every 3rd - 5th startup) it
hangs.

the problem still persists. I have seen the ALSA update but it did not
solve my problem.
