[Bug 793109] Re: VLC Crashes X when playing an FLV file
The bug is fixed if I change the video output method. Maybe VLC should just set that as the default, or maybe detect on the fly rather than just crash. ** Changed in: xorg-server (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete = Opinion ** Changed in: xorg-server (Ubuntu) Status: Opinion = Fix Committed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/793109 Title: VLC Crashes X when playing an FLV file To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg-server/+bug/793109/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Also Banshee crashes when playing the FLV file (it actually plays it, but as soon as I minimize the player or try to bring another application to focus, it crashes X!!). mp3 files are played properly though both by vlc as well as banshee. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/793109 Title: VLC Crashes X when playing an FLV file -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
