[Bug 2045931] Re: ps3 sixasis controller request pin to connect to bt
It seems this corresponds to https://github.com/bluez/bluez/issues/673 One of the last comments suggests that it works again (without any tweaking) with BlueZ 5.73, but we have 5.72 in 24.04. ** Bug watch added: github.com/bluez/bluez/issues #673 https://github.com/bluez/bluez/issues/673 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2045931 Title: ps3 sixasis controller request pin to connect to bt To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/bluez/+bug/2045931/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1072019] Re: date translated in an English system with Italian localization
This bug is still present today. I installed Ubuntu 20.10 in English and I am located in Belgium. System configured automatically the formats as “Belgien”, i.e. with German dates & times. Installing French allows me to select the “Belgique” format which displays the dates & times in French. Although still inconsistent, it will be less disturbing for me. It would be better however if the language of dates & times was the system language, independently of the regional format. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1072019 Title: date translated in an English system with Italian localization To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/glib/+bug/1072019/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1245398] Re: Cannot enter non-latin password characters in lock screen if layout set to english before lock
Same here. In fact, the layout indicator is there even in the default layout, however clicking it does not work anyway (you see it change but it does not affect the layout) See also issues #1612910, #1699670 and #879916 which appear to be duplicates. [Bug 879916] Re: Password can be entered in any layout when unlocking the screen
This is simply a bug: the layout switching does not work in gnome screensaver. It uses the last layout that was used before locking. This makes it very difficult or even impossible to type your password if it is not your usual layout. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/879916 Title: Password can be entered in any layout when unlocking the screen To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-screensaver/+bug/879916/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1699670] Re: Gnome screensaver lock always responses "incorrect password" when last active window's language is not the language of the password
Same here: you have to remember which layout you were using before switching, and type your password in that layout… if that is possible. [Bug 1181666] Re: gnome-shell randomly blocks mouse clicks from working
I also have a similar issue, however it seems to be only triggered when using Telerik Fiddler (a Mono app, which is in beta for Linux). I assume there is a bug in Fiddler, but it shouldn't make the mouse unresponsive for the whole system. When the issue occurs, the mouse is unresponsive though the wave animation when pushing it to the corner is rendered. The overview is not triggered via mouse though, but I can open it with the keyboard. Keyboard shortcut for Run (Alt+F2) does not work in that case but otherwise the keyboard appears to be working properly. Following the comments in this thread, I managed to switch to a terminal and restart gnome-shell, which fixed the issue (though Fiddler's window remained frozen). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1181666 Title: gnome-shell randomly blocks mouse clicks from working To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/gnome-shell/+bug/1181666/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1580605] Re: gnome-shell crashes often
I don't know if it is exactly the same issue but I have been experimenting segfaults since I upgraded to 17.04. It often happens when I open the overview mode and start typing to search for an application (I am not sure it occurs if I don't type anything). Lastly it didn't restart automatically so I have to go to a TTY to restart it. I am not using ZFS but EXT4, and ecryptfs for my home directory. Happens in dual screen but also with only an HDMI-connected TV. [Bug 483541] Re: File-roller drag'n drop is unreliable
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 878993 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/878993 I don't think the duplicate status is wrong because the other bug is a lockup of the whole X, while this is only an error message. I also experiment this error message on Ubuntu 14.10. There is clearly a problem in the path that is shown in the error message. For example right now I got: “You don't have the right permissions to extract archives in the folder "xds.txtules"” The “xds.txt” part is always constant while the end “ules” is actually the end of the name of one of the parent folders (in this case, the 11th parent folder, which has a depth of 9 from / so its seems to be in the middle of the full path). I was unable to determine what would trigger this but for me it occurs currently once in 3 times. Another time in 3, the drag and drop simply does nothing (or at least there is no feedback) so in the in it seems to work only one third of the time… -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/483541 Title: File-roller drag'n drop is unreliable To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/file-roller/+bug/483541/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1368303] Re: Enhanced Zoom Desktop only works if mouse pointer is over the active window
Same here (using just Button4/5). The problem only occurs when using Button4 and 5 (mouse wheel). Using other buttons works fine. [Bug 1295627] Re: Wrong language (German) after fresh install
Same issue here, Ubuntu 14.04.1 x86_64 fresh install from a live usb a few days ago. During install I chose to install the system in English, with the “French (Bépo)” keyboard. I'm also located in Brussels, Belgium. Everything is in English and the keyboard mapping is correct. However the dates are in German for the login screen, the application and the date command. My /etc/default/locale strangely contains the following: LANG="en_US.UTF-8" LC_NUMERIC="de_BE.UTF-8" LC_TIME="de_BE.UTF-8" LC_MONETARY="de_BE.UTF-8" LC_PAPER="de_BE.UTF-8" LC_NAME="de_BE.UTF-8" LC_ADDRESS="de_BE.UTF-8" LC_TELEPHONE="de_BE.UTF-8" LC_MEASUREMENT="de_BE.UTF-8" LC_IDENTIFICATION="de_BE.UTF-8" I changed everything to en_BE (not sure whether that's actually valid…) but it is not effective yet, even in new gnome-terminal.
