Donald: The patches catch the kernel exception, so you shouldn't see it shut down. We just tried using ubuntu 14.04 as the load balancer and unfortunately the kernel panic issue was happening there. No kernel panics at all from the nginx haproxy server this week. The kernel patch you provided has made the issue go away. Do need any logs or something from the server?
