Re: [Bug 128269] Re: Sound Music Volume reset when changing display
Hi, It's not an issue anymore because I played the game as far as I could. (There was no ending yet) I don't have it installed anymore. I'm not running 8.10 Beta but this does not look like a Hardy Heron problem since it only occurs within kq. -- Sound Music Volume reset when changing display https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/128269 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 244197] [NEW] ubuntu hangs on wifi router powerout
Public bug reported: 1) Description:Ubuntu 8.04 Release:8.04 2) It is unknown to me which package causes the problem Using iwl3945 driver: Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection with a Linksys WAG325N Router/Modem. I use WPA2 encryption on my wifi. When the router has a power out (due to me unplugging the power cable), Ubuntu hangs completely. Not even Ctrl-Alt-Backspace works. It does not matter if I have network traffic or not. If it is helpful I can reproduce the bug and post any needed log files... once I rebooted... :) ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- ubuntu hangs on wifi router powerout https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/244197 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 220013] Re: [hardy] Kernel panic with Zydas wifi and kernel 2.6.24
Hi, I have more or less the same problem. The system hangs if a connection is lost in an unpredictible way. This I found out when I had to unplug my wifi-modem/router. My modem is a linksys WAG325N Since this hangs my system and I have to do a hard reset dmesg doesn't show anything of value. I don't know how to correctly perform a bisection so I won't be much help aside from being able to conclude this isn't system or router specific. -- [hardy] Kernel panic with Zydas wifi and kernel 2.6.24 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/220013 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 151672] Re: OpenOffice Has No Icons When Changing Gnome Themes
I've had the same problem using the blended crystal icon theme and there was no synaptic update fixing this problem for me. Now that I have installed openoffice.org-style-default which automatically installs: openoffice.org-style-andromeda the problem is fixed though. -- OpenOffice Has No Icons When Changing Gnome Themes https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/151672 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

It could be me but it sounds like you are referring to: [Menu] Edit - [Menu Item] Preferences - [Tab] Content - [Button] Colors Uncheck 'Use System Colors' I am using Divinorum-Orange at the moment, typing in a black textbox with white letters without ever having touched userChrome.css PS If you feel the need to still fiddle with colors and other FF settings here is a good place to start: http://www.linnhe2.free-online.co.uk/firefox/chrome.html -- Firefox ignores gnome theme's specific menu bar text color https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/117132 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

I have the same problem on my Inspiron 1720 since I installed Ubuntu 64-bit. [Bug 37288] Re: Bluetooth not discovered on Dell Inspiron 9400
As it happens I found a partial solution to this problem. Because bluetooth did not work under Linux I booted Vista, turned on the bluetooth (using software), went about my bluetooth business and shut Vista down, without disabling it with the software. When I rebooted Ubuntu bluetooth-applet worked flawlessly. However, this means there is a boolean value somewhere which the applet does not make use of. If ever it is set to false bluetooth will no longer work. -- Bluetooth not discovered on Dell Inspiron 9400 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/37288 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 128269] Sound Music Volume reset when changing display
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: kq Each time the display changes. For example going from the start menu to the game or from the big map to the city, the sound and music volume reset to 100% but when you want to change it back to 0% in the config window it states it already is at 0%. Changing the value works (until you change display again) If you exit the game and then resart the sound is back up to a 100% which can also be seen in the config screen. ** Affects: kq (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Sound Music Volume reset when changing display https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/128269 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
