Yepp, removing all ROS packages makes it possible to upgrade to 14.10. @edd-rossi: AFAIK, this is due to adapter trying to keep the connection alive. Or, to put it this way, when it comes to power management this driver is a piece of shit. Oh boy :D great we have this finally.
